President Jacob Zuma has offered his condolences to the family of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un after he expressed sorrow over the abduction of his wife last weekend.
North Korea carried out the abduction in a brutal act of international terrorism, the president said.
The statement was made by President Zuma after meeting his counterpart in Washington, Barack Obama, on Thursday.
Speaking at a separate business meeting in the South African town of KwaZulu-Natal on Thursday, President Zuma said the kidnapping of Kim Jong-un’s 수원출장샵 수원출장마사지wife by Islamic State was an “indefensible act”.
“Let us not forget: North Korea carried out a violent and cowardly act of international terrorism that killed its own people,” he said.
“We have lost contact with our leader, with our leader’s wife and his children over the last few days.
“That is very sad for us. Her death may have been one final act by North Korea before their nuclear weapon program reaches critical levels.”

A separate spokesman for the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, meanwhile, said he believed an attack was the only possibility.
