When Ms. Cayman announced her retirement in November 2010, Mr. Jones told British media he had invested the £1 million in the Cayman Islands on his own as well as an investment fund in New Zealand, which he has since split.
Mr. Jones, who is also the chairman of the Cayman Islands Development Company, the government agency that invests in the Caymans and other offshore areas, has been under public fire since revelations about the Cayman fund in 2009 that he was hiding more than £7 million in offshore assets.
In the Cayman Islands, he is a director and owner of more than 800 companies, including a majority owner of a small island on the easternmost island, Nautica.
In October 2012, the Cayman Justice and Accountability Review Commission found that Mr. Jones and the company he co-owns had misused the Cayman Justice fund’s money for personal use, had broken their promises to shareholders and had violated certain 블랙 잭corporate laws.
In one of the last acts of his administration, the Justice and Accountability Commission on July 6 ordered Mr. Jones to repay more than £1.1 million in tax for 2010, 2011 and 2012.
The panel said Mr. Jones had misused the fund’s money for perso충주출장샵nal use in 2006, 2009 and 2010, and had received payments of up to £10 million to cover those debts and interest. The commission did not detail the names of individuals it believed were responsible for the misuse of funds.

The Cayman Islands are a British territory administered by the United Nations, the Government of the Caymans and the Cayman Islands Justice and Accountability Commission.
