Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was assaied with pepper spray after his parents accused him of getting drunk on the train, the Press Association has reported.

The 13-year-old from London was on the London Underground when he had two small spray cans placed around his neck while his father was arguing with him, Metropolitan Police said in a statement.

When the father got up and refused to let go, the pepper spray was thrown back, and the boy was punched올인 119 in the jaw, it added.

The boy, who was later rushed to hospital, was being treated for pepper spray inhalation. He was left with a broken jaw.
