Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was assaied with pepper spray after his parents accused him of getting drunk on the train, the Press Association has reported.

The 13-year-old from London was on the London Underground when he had two small spray cans placed around his neck while his father was arguing with him, Metropolitan Police said in a statement.
